Sawdust is operated by Armaku Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

What we collect

When you submit an inquiry or request access, we collect your name, email address, company name, and any information you include in your message. If you proceed to a paid engagement, we collect billing contact details and company information necessary to issue a license agreement.

We do not collect payment card information directly. Any payment processing is handled by a third-party provider under their own privacy terms.

We collect limited usage data when you access a private listening room, including which tracks were played and when, tied to your account session. This data is used to manage your license entitlements and improve curation.

How we use your data

We use your data to respond to inquiries, grant and manage catalog access, issue license agreements, process renewals, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Data retention

Inquiry data is retained for up to 24 months. Account and license data is retained for the duration of any active agreement plus seven years, as required for financial record-keeping. You may request deletion of inquiry data at any time by emailing legal@sawdust.fm.

Third-party services

We use third-party tools for email delivery, analytics, and payment processing. These providers are contractually required to handle data in accordance with applicable privacy law. We do not share catalog access data with third parties except as required to operate the service or comply with law.

Your rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact legal@sawdust.fm. We will respond within 30 days.
